About us

 The book house Ligamus is a project of Ilia State University, which brings together several functional spaces. Ligamus offers to the students of Ilia State and the public at large a book shop, a café, a reading room, a children's room, and free Wi-Fi.

Ligamus has a wide selection of books. Book lovers can purchase here Ilia State publications as well as children's books and other popular literature in Georgian and other languages.

Guests can enjoy hot and cold beverages on the terrace. At the Ligamus reading room you can enjoy a book in a cozy and calm space. Ligamus also has a space for presentations where public lectures, book readings, discussions and other events are held.

Every Saturday Ligamus host its youngest readers and offers them readings of children's books as well as educational activities.

Attendance to all Ligamus events is free.
