There is no better place in Tbilisi where they know how to cook and serve tea. Therefore, "Althaus", located near the best museums, and hotels of the capital, is a paradise for all tea lovers.

Café welcomes its guests in a flat of an old building with high ceilings and a veranda with great view to the Rose Revolution Square. Tea Room is a cafe-shop which consists of three rooms. Two of them are for non-smoking visitors. The total capacity is about 40-45 people. The interior is decorated with a conservative style and national elements, such as carpets, carved tables, decorated mirrors.

Guests have a truly wide selection of tea. There are 80 varieties, and each of them deserves attention. For example, row of black tea contains 18 items. The basis of the quality of the product is connected with experience and original ideas of German, American and Russian experts. In the summertime, visitors are offered a delicious iced tea, and great cocktails with alcohol. Also you can have breakfast and lunch there. And do not miss the opportunity to taste the "Candies of Orbeliani", made of walnuts and caramel by a secret family recipe.

The price is acceptable for such a quality products, from 4 to 8 GEL per 100 grams of tea. You can be consulted about the menu (which is represented in English and Georgian) by friendly and competent staff. Visitors can also enjoy a fast service, wireless Internet access and free parking. Restaurant is open every day from 9 am to 11 pm.
