About us

In 2007 on the Mikhail Vorontsov Square in the district of Chughuret a brewery "Madliani" was opened. It combines the features of traditional European bars and Georgian culture. Back in the day this place used to be a tavern where Vaja Pshavela created his masterpieces and Pirosmany sought his muse at nights.
Today "Madliani" is a brasserie located in the basement. Brick walls and wooden furniture are complemented with pleasant malt aroma in the air.

The brewer of the place is a Georgian who graduated from one of Tbilisi Universities, where he gained the knowledge of brewing. He works with the German equipment «Kaspar Schulz» and uses imported malt and hops from Germany. "Madliani" produces only one type of light beer. Half-liter glass of beer costs 2 GEL. Except beer the brewery serves national and European cuisine, including beer snacks. You should also try the homemade ravioli and khinkali in the place.

Visitors often come together during the sport events to watch the games on the big screen. Guests can organize a party or a corporate event by prior arrangement. The brewery is open every day from 11 am to 11 pm.
