Tbilisi Summer Set Fest 2014

One of the largest festivals of the summer - Tbilisi Summer Set Fest 2014 - will occur in the capital of Georgia on July 11-12 with participation of world stars. Well-known musicians and groups as Fratz Kalkbrenner, Kölsch, Petar Dundov, Sun Glitters, Modeselektor, Moderat, Nathan Fake, Patrice Bäumel, Nuno Dos Santos, and David August are expected to perform in the network of this festival. 10 foreign groups and about 20 Georgian musicians will perform during two-day festival.

«The purpose of the Tbilisi Summer Set Fest 2014 is to provide an opportunity for music fans of Georgia to get on the show excellent artists and thus to make our country even more attractive for tourists», - organizers of a festival declare.

The summer festival Summer Set will take place in Georgia already for the third time. Since 2012, it passed in Batumi, but in the present time, the organizers decided to change the venue.
«We successfully began holding the festival in Batumi two years ago. However, in 2013 the last, third day of the festival, was saddened by very bad weather. As a result, the concert infrastructure was damaged, the festival town was wiped off; disrupted the performance of the main guest artists of the festival - the British group Faithless. Nevertheless, everything finished the happy end - 20 days later, this group showed a superb performance already in Tbilisi where actually closed a festival», – Nika Dvalidze, the PR manager of Tbilisi Summer Set Fest, has informed to the «News Georgia».
